The article describes the effect of Tenofovir-containing antiretroviral therapy on the kidney function of HIV patients in Ghana. The kidney function of HIV patients on tenofovir are required to be monitored regularly. This research advises on what should be done in resource limited settings where regular monitoring of kidney function is not possible.
