Oxalatofluorotitanates

The preparation of K₄ (Ti₂O(C₂O₄)₃F₄].2.5H₂O and [Co(NH₃)₆]₂ (TiO(C₂O₄ )F₂]. 3H₂O are described. The compounds are studied through TGA, i.r. spectra and through X-ray analysis.

The conductometric and thermometric titrations of potassium titanyl oxalate by KF₂ AgF and by HF indicate the formation of the ion, [TiO(C₃O₄)F₂]^2- in aqueous solution.
