Investigating the effect of strategic human resource management on citizenship behavior in the field of environment and environmental performance in sport organization.

Objective: The present study was designed to present a model of the effect of strategic human resource management on citizenship behavior in the field of environment and environmental performance in sports organizations with a moderating role of environmental orientation.
Methodology: The present study is a descriptive-survey research and is applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the present study includes all managers and staff experts of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, which according to the information obtained from this ministry, their number includes 320 people. Based on Morgan's sample size table, 175 people were identified as the research sample. Available sampling method was used to select the research samples. Therefore, after distributing and collecting research questionnaires, 169 questionnaires were analyzed. In order to determine the objectives of the research, the conceptual model of Payli et al.'s (2014) research was used and the data of the present research were analyzed using structural equations. The whole process of analysis was performed in the form of SPIEX software version 20 and Pialas version 2 software.
Results: The results of the present study showed that strategic human resource management has a significant effect on environmental performance (effect = 0.578; t = 3.797). The results of the present study also showed that the variable of environmental orientation has a moderating role in the relationship between strategic human resource management and citizenship behavior in the field of environment (effect = 0.535, t = 3.555).
Conclusion: Paying attention to the strategic management of human resources in sports organizations can provide conditions for improving the environmental situation in these organizations by developing citizenship behaviors.
