Description
The authors of the book have pursued the goal to include insufficiently studied Ukrainian philosophical heritage of the 11-18th centuries in the general picture of the historical process. The analysis of Ukrainian medieval and early modern thought is carried out considering the influence on it by various factors: the Byzantine and patristic traditions, the intra-Ukrainian dialogue between representatives of mystical and rationalist approaches and multiple schools of second scholasticism. The book is based on many historical sources, especially handwritten. Working on the book, the authors published the texts of handwritten philosophical courses by professors of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in critical edition. The edited texts were translated into Ukrainian.
