Stepwise stability constants of the complexes of RH-124(4n-butyl-4H-1,2,4 triazole) with manganese(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) were studied in aqueous medium at 25 and 35o at \(\mu\)=0.05 and 0.10M. The changes in the values of free energy of formation (\( \bigtriangleup\)G), enthalpy (\( \bigtriangleup\)H) and entropy (\( \bigtriangleup\)S) have been reported. The values of \( \bigtriangleup\)G were more negative at 35o indicating that complex formation is facilitated at higher temperature. The \( \bigtriangleup\)H and \( \bigtriangleup\)S values indicate that complexes are entropy stabilized.
