Confocal data of Vetuprostomis spp.

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for holotypes of Vetuprostomis angularis (NIGP177984) and Vetuprostomis gaoi (NIGP170326). This dataset is associated with the publication "New species of Vetuprostomis from mid-Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar (Coleoptera: Tenebrionoidea: Prostomidae)" (DOI:10.11646/zootaxa.5125.5.6).

Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon; for V. angularis) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10; for V. gaoi) laser excitation lines. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
