= Creatonotus obliquifascia nigrescens Mell, 1935: 38
Type locality: Burma (Rangoon or Thayetmyo). Lectotype designated by Hampson (1901)
Distribution: North West Himalayas (Dharamsala), Assam (Hampson 1894), Sikkim (Kirti et al. 2005).
