Meth)lapigenln 7-O-β-D-glucopyranuronate, a new flavone glycoside, has been isolated along with apigenin 7-O-glucuronide from leaves of \(Acanthus\) \(ilicifolius\). The structure of the new glycoside established by chemical and uv, ir, ¹H nmr, ¹³C nmr and CI mass spectral data, has been confirmed by partial synthesis.
