Fire stimulates grass flowering in the Cerrado independent of season

Description
Data on post-fire flowering responses of grass species according to fire season (wet- and dry-season fires) and time since last fire.
Recordings include whether a species were flowering in each 1 x 1 m plot and the number of reproductive/vegetative tillers for each species within the plot.
The study was carried out in areas of open savanna (campo sujo) of the Cerrado at Reserva Natural Serra do Tombador (RNST, 13°35-38’S, 47°45-51’W, 1118 m) in central Brazil.
