The purpose of this research is to analyze the China-Central Asia transboundary regional nexus in a geopolitical context. To examine China’s strategies in the construction of oil and gas pipelines to meet its energy requirements and to build bases in Europe and Central Asia to transport its finished goods. For this China’s ties with three Central Asian states are highlighted along with China’s engagement with Europe through this region is discussed in this article. To synthesize the analysis from a theoretical perspective, it is discussed that how China’s growing influence in the region can change the region’s diverse interests. It has been covered that China's ‘New Great Game’ differs from classical Heartland theory. Therefore, this study is based on two analyses one is China’s energy plans in the form of its energy ties and the second is to construct new ways to transport its finished goods to the world.
