Description
This is a dataset results from the evaluation of the following caching replacement policies: Random, Least Recently Used (LRU), Least Frequently Used (LFU), and First In First Out (FIFO) applied to NDN. It was used for the paper "NDN Content Store and Caching Policies: Performance Evaluation", DOI: https://doi.org/10.3390/computers11030037 .
The simulation tool used is the ndnSIM-2.7.
Includes:
1. The actual dataset from simulations (for both NDN Testbed and Abilene).
2. The C++ ndnSIM scenarios (for both NDN Testbed and Abilene).
3. Matlab scripts for data extraction.
4. Simple Bash scripts for automating the execution
