Quantitative Structure- Activity Relationship on some 2-Hydroxy-1H-isoindole-diones as Cytostatic Agents

The structure-activity relationship of 2-hydroxy-lH-isoindole-diones, which are cystostatic agents, has been discussed. The growth inhibitory potency of these compounds are found to be dominantly controlled by electronic and steric factors. Significant correlation have been obtained between the growth inhibitory potency and topological index (7).
