the article discusses the severity of COVID-19 in pregnant women. As a result, studies of COVID-19 patients suggest that the risk of developing severe forms of COVID-19 is slightly higher in patients of the third trimester of pregnancy who also suffer from several concomitant diseases, although severe COVID-19 occurs in any trimester regardless of the presence of extragenital pathologies.
