Description
Nanoparticles and nanotechnology, in addition to being useful, can also have potential hazards, so safety issues and potential hazards associated with these new methods must be considered. Nanoparticles may accelerate the mutation of bacteria and pose a potential threat to the environment and human health. Although nanotechnology makes existing products more efficient and effective, the size of these particles, which are important properties, can threaten health and the environment. It is not yet clear how particles and objects made in nanoscale interact with each other, with the environment, and especially with the tissues of the human body and other living organisms. Many materials that are not dangerous in large dimensions are problematic when they appear in very small dimensions and in the form of fine particles. For example, quartz is a crystal that is not dangerous in large dimensions and has many applications, but; miners and those who deal with cutting parts of this crystal, due to inhalation of fine particles of this crystal, chronic obstructive lung disease or injury Delicate lesions on the tissues of their lungs.
