Description

Among the existing problems regarding the supply of petrochemical products is the type of products that are offered; This is because the capacity of the domestic market for the goods offered is very low, while industry experts believe that the sale of raw materials and the export of petrochemical products deprive the country of potential added value and high job opportunities.
On the other hand, with the export of crude product of petrochemical complexes, the opportunity to convert these products by companies and domestic labor to other products with higher added value is lost and also in addition to depriving Iran of reliable export markets and replacing regional competitors, The government has to pay a lot of money to import these products.
This issue becomes even more important when we consider that our country uses the available fossil energy resources to produce petrochemical products and potentially has many advantages in this regard, as well as a large part of the value added in The format of export profits goes to petrochemical complexes, which can lead to more added value in the downstream sectors due to the activation of domestic production and the creation of high employment in this sector.
In this article, the aim is to examine the solutions to the crisis of the oil industry with the challenges ahead by possible and available solutions.
