Gewandhaus repertoire research dataset 1781–1895

Description

This dataset contains the listed repertoire (played works) of the Gewandhausorchestra in Leipzig from 1781–1895. Every case is represented by a work and its performance date and each work is enriched by a number of categories like "language of vocal work", "nationality of composer" and "genre".

The research data is the main product of the dissertation "Repertoire and canon". [Not yet published]
