Description
In today’s dynamic corporate environment, organizations and employees are continuously in demand to think out-of-the-box, how existing products or services could improve, or even be targeted other than the existing market. In order to meet this demand, organizations need to come up with effective ways to gain understanding on certain cultures or people, and generate ideas that reflect the technological advantage they hold within. To meet this demand, we designed a workshop called ‘idea brokering’, where a group of people would go through two concise sessions, one for ‘downloading’ the insights from ethnographic research, and another, for some inspiration. The paper describes the approach and a case study workshop.
