Description

A container version of SeqDoC - sequence chromatogram comparison tool. Provided for download in case the DockerHub version is even removed/archived.

SeqDoC (Sequence Difference of Chromatograms) aligns and performs a subtractive comparison of two ABI DNA sequence chromoatograms. The subtracted profile is processed to highlight differences characteristic of single base changes. Full details about use and implementation are available at http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/6/133.

SeqDoC is currently (as of Jan 2022) available for public use at http://seqdoc.qfab.org/. This image allows you to run SeqDoC locally through Docker - install and start Docker Desktop, then run the following two commands on the command line (from the directory in which you downloaded the image) before opening your web browser to 'localhost'.

docker docker load < marklcrowe_seqdoc.tar.gz

docker run -dp 80:80 marklcrowe/seqdoc

To set up your own SeqDoC server from scratch, the source code and installation instructions are available at https://github.com/marklcrowe/SeqDoC_1.2.
