The impact of stellar companions on disk and planet formation
Description
We present results from an ALMA survey of young systems in Taurus which detected over 25 new disks around both single and multiple stars with spectral types from M0 to M6. Combined with previous data, we use the ALMA detections to
probe how protoplanetary disk mass depends on both stellar mass and multiplicity and discuss the implications for possible planet formation around these stars.
