QSOFITMORE: a python package for fitting UV-optical spectra of quasars.

QSOFITMORE is currently a wrapper of PyQSOFit (https://github.com/legolason/PyQSOFit) with features for generalizations.

Features

• Reading non-SDSS spectra without plateid, mjd and fiberid.
• Narrow line measurements in the line MC process (which enables estimating uncertainties for narrow line parameters).
• Dust maps and extinction laws other than SFD98 and CCM.
• LaTeX rendering for line names in plots.

Updates since the last release:

1. Added an optional broken power-law model in the continuum fitting process.
2. Enabled line property outputs for all narrow lines, OIII core+wing as a whole, and CIV br+na as a whole.
3. Used new criterion to verify narrow/broad components in self._PlotFig() to prevent narrow components from being plotted as red (broad) lines.
4. Changed prefix of comp_result from number to the complex name.
5. Bug fixes.
