The kinetics or oxidation or glycine by hexacyanoferrate(lll) in presence or non-ionic surfactant Brij-35 has
been studied under pseudo-first order conditions in alkaline medium. It has been round that increase in [Brij-35] causes
Increase in reaction rate indicating that the reaction is enhanced by non-ionic micelles. The reaction is first order in
[hexacyanoferrate(III)], [glycine) and [NaOH), Glyoxalic acid is identified as the main product or oxidation.
