Two new phenyl propanoid glycosides from the heartwood of Cassia javanica

Two new glycosides, 4-hydroxycinnamyl alcohol-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and 4-hydroxy-3-methovycinnamyl alcohol-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, were isolated from the heartwood of Cassia javanica. The structures were established on the basis or chemical evidences and spectroscopic methods specially ¹³C and ¹H NMR.
