CAPITALISMO DE VIGILÂNCIA E ARTVEILLANCE: UM ESTUDO SOBRE A REPRODUÇÃO DE CONHECIMENTOS ESTEREOTIPADOS PELOS ALGORITMOS

This article is part of a study on the social implications in the current data economy, whose focus is on the discussion of Shoshana Zuboff's capitalism of surveillance and formal indifference, and the knowledge generated by the algorithms of Antoinette Rouvroy. The reflections on the social damage caused by insights generated by algorithmic calculations are realized through the analysis of the works of Joy Buolamwini and Heather Dewey-Hagborg, whose investigations by the artists raise problems about racial discrimination reinforced by the use of surveillance technologies

Este artigo parte do estudo sobre as implicações sociais na atual economia de dados, cujo enfoque está na discussão a respeito do capitalismo de vigilância e indiferença formal de Shoshana Zuboff, e os conhecimentos gerados pelos algoritmos de Antoinette Rouvroy. As reflexões sobre os danos sociais provocados por insights gerados pelos cálculos algorítimos, é realizado através da análise das obras de Joy Buolamwini e Heather Dewey-Hagborg, cujas investigações das artistas levantam problemáticas sobre discriminações raciais reforçadas pelos uso te tecnologias de vigilância.
