Description
This is the subset of GOES C-, M-, and X-class flares that is referenced in the paper "A Statistical Study of Coronal Rain Frequency Correlated to Flare Severity", submitted for publication to Solar Physics. It contains the set of analyzed flares, their timestamps, locations, GOES class, host active region NOAA designation and Hale class, and notes on the presence or absence of rain and CMEs.
