Description

Review of paleomagnetic data from Tibet and N Indochina, supporting the paper "Post-50 Ma evolution of India-Asia collision zone from paleomagnetic and GPS data: Greater India indentation to eastward Tibet flow".

Notes

Review of the Jurassic to Holocene paleomagnetic data from Tibet and North Indochina. D and I are site mean declination and inclination calculated before and after tectonic correction; α95 is a statistical parameter after Fischer (1953). Site mean rotation R and flattening F values and relative errors ΔR and ΔF (according to Demarest, 1983) are relative to coeval D and I values expected at the sampling area considering East‐Asia paleopoles from Cogné et al. (2013), except 140 to 180 Ma from Eurasia paleopoles from Torsvik et al. (2012). Field tests are defined as positive (+), negative (-), or undetermined (u). Paleomagnetic data file compiled from literature, following references reported in the main text.
