Pyridinium dichlorophosphinomethylides and 2-phosphaindolizines

New 2-phosphaindolizines have been prepared and characterized. The formation of six new pyridinium dichlorophosphinomethylides was detected by ³¹P NMR spectroscopy. Six pyridinium salts were prepared and characterized spectroscopically.
