SERVICII DE BIBLIOTECĂ PRESTATE ÎN SCOPUL ATRAGERII SPRE LECTURĂ A COMUNITĂȚII BĂLȚENE

The article reflects the results of the survey conducted in the „Eugeniu Coșeriu" Municipal Library Balti network on the role of books and reading in lives of library users. Their requests help to develop reading skills of community members, to improve the services provided by the Library, such as the legal framework in the fi eld of librarianship that comes to promote reading as a basis of knowledge. Also, the author comes with an extensive presentation of the services provided by the „Eugeniu Coșeriu” Municipal Library in Balti in order to encourage the Balti community to read.
