If It Exists: A New Media Artwork

If It Exists is a new media artwork that incorporates local wireless cloud saving, custom coding, microcontrollers, LED strips, basic projection mapping and crafting in an attempt at making a communal experience that tackles a realized technological version of an afterlife. From the conception of this artwork, it has always been centralized with animal companions in an effort to make it a more universal and accessible experience. It is also a decision that consciously tries to contrasts itself from the artworks of others that tackle the topics of death, loss and the afterlife in a more morbid manner. It is also purposely kitsch, in an effort to make it more relatable, shareable and accessible.
