Description
The aluminum foil from consumer packaging releases Al3+ ions. Calcium phosphate CaHPO4, 2H2O reacts with the released element to give aluminum phosphate AlPO4. Comparative XRD analysis confirms the presence of the AlPO4 compound at 3%. The Infrared study clearly shows the contamination of the calcium phosphate DCPD.
