СУТНІСТЬ ТА СТРУКТУРА ПРОФЕСІЙНО-ПСИХОЛОГІЧНОЇ КОМПЕТНТНОСТІ ПРАЦІВНИКІВ ПРАВООХОРОННИХ ОРГАНІВ УКРАЇНИ

Grounding on the analysis of the regulatory and legal framework and scientific literature the essence and the structure of professional-psychological competence of law enforcement officials have been revealed and described. The meaningful components of such competence are: 1) the knowledge substructure: the system of psychological knowledge, including the information from the sphere of psychology of personality, individual peculiarities, psychodynamics, interpersonal relations, conflict resolution studies. 2) Substructure of psychological abilities and skills, which includes: analytical-psychological, tactic- psychological, technic- psychological skills and abilities. 3) Substructure of personal qualities psychologically important for the activity of a law enforcement official, which foresee a high level of development of the cognitive sphere, neuropsychic fortitude, a high level of professional adaptation, developed communicative and organizational skills. 4) Substructure of autocompetence, that encompasses the following qualities as reflexivity, empativity, mastery of psychological self-regulation mechanisms, the control of own social behavior, aim-setting and motivation-setting skills for personal activity, pursuance of professional growth, techniques of self-diagnostics, self-correction, self-development, skills and techniques of psychological support.
