Description

This dataset contains shapefiles created for glacial lakes on the Tibetan Plateau using 30 years of satellite imagery records (1990-2019). We used the Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM) and Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) to map glacial lakes in the Google Earth Engine environment between July and November, followed by manual editing in ArcGIS Pro. The mapping uncertainty is about 17.5%.
