A multitude of communities including fishes reside on the cold-water coral reefs. Now we find bottom trawling is seriously affecting or destroying these reefs and lives. However, the law for protecting these faunas is missing in China. If the open access data, especially the location of these reefs, are commercially used, we are very worried about further damage to the biodiversity. After careful consideration, we set restrict access and permit people who use it for scientific purpose after providing the name, affiliation, and usage.
