The SPYGLASS Program: Mapping the Extensive Star-Forming Histories of Nearby Young Stellar Populations
Description
Young associations provide a star formation record that can be used to uncover the mechanisms of star formation across large scales in space and time. Through the SPYGLASS program, we use Gaia photometry and astrometry to identify young stars and the associations they reside in, the initial findings of which have recently been published. Updated data provided by Gaia EDR3 has allowed us to begin expanding our work, revealing smaller and more distant structures. In this poster, we summarize past results and provide updates on the discoveries of the SPYGLASS program, while revealing new active projects to deepen our knowledge in the clusters and associations already discovered.
