Confirmation of the discovery of the narrow-winged jewel beetle Agrilus guerini Lacordaire, 1835 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) in Western Ukraine.

Kravchenko, О. M.; Yanytsky, T. P.

The rare species Agrilus guerini Lacordaire, 1835 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) was first found in the Shatsk National Nature Park (ShNNP, Volyn Region, Ukraine). This is the first record of this species in almost 150 years in the West of Ukraine. Data on its bionomics, as well as morphological differences from the closely related species A. ater (Linnaeus, 1767) are provided. It is proposed to include A. guerini in the regional list of rare species of Volyn Region and ShNNP.
