Dysomma abyssale Kamohara, 1938:12, fig. 3 (type locality: Sagami Sea, Japan).
Meadia abyssalis (Kamohara, 1938): Chen & Mok, 2001:79; Shao et al., 2008:238.
Remarks. A deepwater species commonly collected by hook and line from eastern Taiwan and occasionally collected by bottom trawl off northeastern and southwestern Taiwan.
