Description

Abstract: The aim of the work is investigation the causal relationship between the Laws of Valladolid of 1513 and the Laws of Burgos, adopted in 1512 as a continuation of the political and juridical struggle between King Ferdinand II of Aragon and the “House of Columbus” for the administration of the West Indies. The position of the laws of Valladolid is studied as a continuation of the granting of freedom to the aborigines in the New World at the beginning of the XVI century.
