A dataset for the relationship between the prosome length of copepods and sea surface temperature
Description
This dataset is a subset of the extensive copepod trait dataset of Brun et al. (2016)(https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.862968). The subset that I have extracted uses 21 references of Calanus species from non-polar biomes to estimate an empirical relationship of copepod prosome length with SST that has the best regression coefficient (R2) possible. Calanus organisms are present in all marine environments and usually constitute 70% by mass of all net-collected zooplankton (Lalli & Parsons, 1993).
