  • 1. University of Malaysia Kelantan

Description

After converging into information technology in the last three decades, Malaysia has transformed into a regional Information Communication Technology (ICT) hub. Despite its bundle benefits to the user, the package comes together with related risk exposures and has gradually evolved since then. The purpose of this paper is to find out whether the constructs related to the awareness of youth in terms of experience, exposure, effects of financial cyber-crime. This study adopts a quantitative approach by using Pearson’s correlation analysis to explain the data which has been collected through a structured questionnaire. A total of 242 respondents have participated in this study via a convenience sampling method. The finding revealed that youth are reasonably aware of the financial cybercrimes based on the constructs used in this study. Although this research has been carefully prepared and achieved its goals, it is still known that researchers are limited and deficient. Firstly, the scope of analysis will likely be limited by the scarcity of evidence or reliable data. Most journals have found that there is a dearth of information on e-banking in Malaysia compared to other developing coun-tries
