GUILLAUMIN (1911a) listed both this name and Pancheria laevis separately, though elsewhere (GUILLAUMIN 1911b, 1941) he said they were synonymous, and the same as C. nitida, though he had not seen PANCHER’ s material. A sheet of Pancher s. n. at K labelled “ Codia laevis ” is indeed C. nitida.
