Description
datasets containing information on the root tensile strength for the following plant species:
- Ash
- Goat willow
- Basket willow
- Sycamore/maple
- Silene dioica
- Erigeron acris
Root tensile strength was measured with a universal testing machine. Root tensile strength is a useful variable for estimating the degree of soil reinforcement provided by plant roots
