Lines of code and keywords: articles and patents on policosanol biorefine routes

Description

To patents prospect was used the modality Advanced Search and IP Business Intelligence of OrbitÒ seekers (version 1.9.8). The choice is justified because search 35 technology domains, as well as names of companies and technical concepts standard; inventor, representative, dates, country (precise positioning algorithms), legal status, mutual references, proper graphical interface.

The harmonization of search code lines was from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E or Web of Science - WoS) and Scopus (Elsevier) bases.

The policosanol spelling variants, with "y" or "i", and suffix variations “ultrasonic” or “ultrasound” were considered.

The Ibero-American countries surveyed (with available databases) are, in alphabetical order of acronyms: AR - Argentina, BR - Brazil, CL - Chile, CO - Colombia, CR - Cota Rica, CU - Cuba, DO - Dominican Republic, EC - Ecuador, ES - Spain, GT - Guatemala, HN - Honduras, MX - Mexico, NI - Nicaragua, PA - Panama, PE - Peru, PT - Portugal, SV - El Salvador, UY - Uruguay. The data from Bolivia, Haiti, Paraguay and Venezuela are unavailable.
