Description

In plants, heavy metal associated (HMA) domains have recurrently integrated into NLR immune receptors and are thought to be commonly targeted by pathogen effectors. Here, we describe a clone resource of 151 HMA domains of the cereal grasses rice (Oryza sativa), foxtail millet (Setaria italica) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) in the yeast two-hybrid “bait” plasmid pGBKT7. We aim to provide a community resource of HMA domains for rapid protein-protein interactions screens and other functional analyses.
