Current Meter Data from the MAM '77 Phase of Joint-II
Description
This is current meter data gathered near Peru during the MAM '77 Phase of JOINT-II, part of the CUEA project. The data report describing the data is
The data are from the PS (15o 6.8'S, 75o 30.2'W ) and Mila V (15o 6.0'S, 75o 30.8'W) stations. The data from at and deeper than 39m are from the Mila V mooring, while the data at 24m and above meters are from the PS mooring.

The data included in this file are
yd: the year-day of the data, GMT, for the data. The year is 1977.
z121: the depths of the instruments, in meters below sea level.
w121: the horizontal currents in complex form, where the real part is the cross-shelf velocity, and the imaginary part is the along shelf velocity. The units are cm/s.
wt121: the water temperature, in degrees Celsius.
