Glosses on Taftâzânî’s Commentary, by NIẒÂM AL-DÎN B. ‘ALÎ BADAKHSHÎ (نظام الدین ابن شیخ علی القاضی البدخشی). They are compiled from various earlier works, such as the glosses of Khayâlî, Aḥmad Jandî, ‘Iṣâm al-dîn (d. A.H. 943), and extend in this MS. over about one-third of the original work.

The preface begins: الحمدلله علی اکبر آلائه العلیة.

It contains a dedication, beginning (fol. 2):

فاقول یا نور نوّر المشارق و المغارب بانوار عدالة الخاقان الاکبر الاعظم و القاان الاعدل1 الاحکم الذی خصصته بلوازم معرفة کمال قدرتک.

The first gloss refers to the words: لما کان مبنی الکلام (!), from the end of Taftâzânî’s preface.

Well written, the greater part (from fol. 84) in Nasta’liḳ. The first few foll. Contain many emendations.

Bîj. Libr., A.H. 1023, from Shaikh ‘Alam Allah (b. ‘Abd al-razzâḳ Makkî Ḥanafî al-‘Aidarûs). Inscribed: حاشیۀ مولانا غازیخان بر حاشیۀ خیالی بر شرح عقاید نسفی.
