Description

In this global era of technology, a system that operates on low power has cheap cost and good efficiency is likely to overcome its antecedent. The idea of this project is to create an automated, cheap, secured and more efficient advanced system for managing the libraries. This project emphasis upon ameliorating RFID as a base to identify and locate user’s desired book automatically without letting him search by himself and notifying him about the exact location of the book in the defined section of the shelf even if the selected book is misplaced from its wanted shelf/department. To point out the book within a section a small LED glows on the book and switch off when user picks up the book from shelf. The LED is powered up wirelessly and is quite reliable to use with the books. Furthermore, the time spend while standing in a queue to issue a book will be vanished by automatically issuing the book on the user’s RFID card when one  exit through the secured RFID reader gate. Securing the library by allowing only those who have their allotted RFID cards and maintaining a book returning system that has a load sensor embedded with it to verify the weight of the particular book will ensure full security of the book so returned.
