Dry sliding wear behaviour of additive manufactured CrC-rich WC-Co cemented carbides

The dataset contains the macro-hardness the friction values, the x,y,z coordinates from profilometry and the videos from the in-situ scratch wear tests of additive manufactured CrC-rich WC-Co cemented carbides (Vibenite®480).

• Micro-hardness measurement file (Vibenite 480 30 meas Hardness.csv): The .csv file reports the micro hardness for 30 measurements.
• Reciprocating tests files (Vibenite 480 cof1st/2ne/3rd steel/alumina 10N/30N.csv): The .csv files report the details of the reciprocating dry wear tests and the friction forces.
• Profilometry measurements files (Vibenite 480 profilometry1st/2nd/3rd steel/alumina 10/30N.dat): The .dat files report the x,y,z coordinates of the wear track from the reciprocating tests.
• Video from in-situ scratch wear test (Vibenite 480 100 passes.avi): The .avi video file shows the the real-time wear of the specimen from the in-situ scratch wear test placed inside an SEM chamber. The sequence of SEM images was post-processed and registered using ImageJ® .
