[Datasets] Misidentification in citizen science bias the phenological estimates of two hard-to-identify Elaenia flycatchers

Here we include two files:

(1) "dataset_clean.csv"

Dataset consisting of unique records of Chilean Elaenia and Small-billed Elaenia that we used to perform the identification accuracy and phenological analyses in our work. Note that this dataset only includes records that were filtered during the data cleaning process (see data cleaning methods subsection). 

(2) "passerine_records"

Dataset consisting of a summary of the number of passerine photos submitted by week to eBird and EcoRegistros across the study area. We used this information to approximate the weekly survey effort of each platform to built GAMs (see Phenological analysis methods subsection). This information was gently provided and summarized by Cullen Hanks (The Cornell Lab of Ornithology) and Jorge La Grotteria (EcoRegistros).
