Description

The purpose of this article is to analyze whether the Federal Government of Brazil is complying with the recommendations made by the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights in Resolution (IACHR) n. 01/2020 about the protection of the Human Rights of workers in times of a pandemic. To this end, the new coronavirus and the social changes caused around the world will be discussed; next, a choice will be made about the IACHR and its role during the pandemic, as well as about IACHR Resolution n. 01/2020 about workers. Finally, the maturity of the salaries will be discussed. For this, exploratory and qualitative research was carried out, with a collection of bibliographic and documentary data, and the deductive method was used. In the end, it was possible to conquer that the Brazilian government did not observe what was recommended by the IACHR concerning workers, since Provisional Measures were enacted that processed precarious labor relations and demanded access to the internet and bank account to receive the benefit called “emergency assistance”, making their economic maintenance difficult and making them socially vulnerable.
