Abstract
Studies abroad have confirmed that self-efficacy can enhance readiness for change. The aim of this study was to explore this relationship among school teachers in the context of many changes from educational reform that thay have to face. The convenient sample consisted 594 public school teachers. The questionnaire with reliable and validable scales for assessing self-efficacy and readiness to educational reform was used in the cross-sectional design. The results showed that self-efficacy able to predict the teacher's reaadiness with an effect size of 18%. This relationship was the same between male and female teachers, but there was a certain difference between teachers in different schools levels. In the same level of self-efficacy, middle school teachers have lower readiness levels. The significance of the research results have been discussed
