Reproducible code for Colchero et al (2021) Nat Comm

Here we provide code and a sample dataset for the analyses carried out in Colchero et al (2021) The long lives of primates: implications for the ‘invariant rate of ageing’ hypothesis. Nature Communications. Specifically, the code specifies how to carry out Bayesian Survival Trajectory Analysis on census data using a Siler mortality model, and then to calculate life expectancy and lifespan equality from the resulting distribution of ages at death. The code also provides functions to calculate the sensitivity of life expectancy and lifespan equality to changes in mortality parameters.
